The area is rich with tourist attractions which can be reached by foot: guests can choose one of the many walks in the Portofino Park, onto the top of the Mountain, to the Xth century Abbey of San Fruttuoso, to the ancient fishermen and today’s jetset Portofino village, to the antique Roman church of San Nicolò built in XIIth century, to Camogli, one of the most beautiful Ligurian colorful fishermen villages or just to the blue waters of Punta Chiappa or Porto Pidocchio. Guests should make sure that they take enough water with them during the longer walks (it can take 2 hours or more until access to fresh, drinkable water is possible again). Sun protection is recommended especially during the summer months.
Guests are invited to ask for weather conditions before leaving the Villa. Weather, especially during the spring months, can change quickly and it can become very unpleasant to get caught in the middle of the mountain or sea cliffs when strong rain showers and wind arrive. A detailed description of the different itineraries within the park can be found here.
